Welcome to Snider Guitars

Snider guitars are hand-built, one at a time, in Denver, Colorado, by me, Mike Snider. Each instrument I produce is of the finest craftsmanship available, and a labor of love. No detail is overlooked, since a superlative guitar is the sum of all its parts.

I think every aspect of the instrument should inspire the player and enhance his or her playing experience. It has to sound great, which is what comes first. It should be a sound you don't want to live without. Just as important is the feel of the guitar. You need to be able to become one with the instrument, which means that the action and setup, and everything involved, needs to be just right. Finally, it should look great. It should beckon you from accross the room to pick it up and make beautiful music with it. It should be hard to put it back in its case. These are all the things I strive for when I build a guitar.

I'm not finished with a guitar until I feel it meets these criteria, and more. Whether electric or acoustic, simple or elaborate, they are all high-performance works of art. And no two are alike.

My guitars are available custom made to your specifications, with the goal of unbeatable tone and playability, tailored to your specific needs.

I am also somewhat of an inlay artist. My inlay is available as an adornment to your custom guitar, as well as for my custom belt buckles and other woodworking projects.
