Guitars:

All ordering of Snider guitars is done directly through Mike Snider. The process begins with a call or email to Mike, at which point he will talk with you about the things you are looking for in a guitar, including sound, feel, scale length, nut width, body shape/style, pickup configuration, wood selection, etc.. Mike will gladly guide you through any aspects you are unsure of or unfamiliar with.

When you decide that you would like Mike to build a guitar for you, you will be asked for a $500 deposit, which will go towards the final cost of your guitar. If the order is cancelled before material acquisition and building begin, half of this deposit will be refunded. After materials have been acquired and/or the building process begins, the entire deposit becomes non-refundable. Again, this deposit will go towards the final price of your guitar, and will reserve your place in line, as well as your materials.

Just prior to the finishing stage of the building process, you will be required to pay half of the remaining price of the guitar. After final completion, you will be required to pay the remainder of the balance. Upon its receipt, the guitar will be shipped to you.

Your satisfaction is absolutely gauranteed. You will have five days upon receiving the guitar to return it, in its original condition, for a full refund, minus the original $500 deposit, and any repair or touch-up work incurred. In this highly unlikely event that you are not satisfied, you will even be refunded the shipping costs. You will receive your refund as soon as the guitar is sold to another buyer.

Wait time before the building process begins is currently around four to six months. Once building commences, it will take about three months for the completion of the guitar. You will regularly be sent pictures of the building process, so you will be able to watch your guitar come to life.

Your guitar will be quoted a custom price based on options you choose. Below are some general guidelines and figures.

Base price for a flat top electric is $2100

Base price for a bent top electric is $2500

Base price for a carved top electric is $3100

Base price for a steel string acoustic is $4000
